ZONE 3 DIV. LEAGUE: Ho Home Stars to outshine Na God come Sunday

By Tony Bebli

In an eagerly anticipated clash, Ho-based Home Stars FC are gearing up to face off against Na God FC in the Access Bank Division One Zone 3 League on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Despite their position as debutants in the league and currently sitting in fourth place, Home Stars FC have demonstrated promise with 20 points garnered from 13 league matches, showcasing a balanced record of five wins, five draws, and three defeats.

One notable hurdle for Home Stars FC has been their struggle to find the back of the net consistently. However, under the astute guidance of coach Adamu Sulley, the technical team has bolstered the squad with new attacking talents acquired during the January transfer window, aiming to address this issue effectively.

As the league action resumes on Sunday at the Ho Sports Stadium, all eyes will be on the showdown between the host and Na God FC. The match is set to unfold in the Volta regional capital, Ho, kicking off at 3:00 PM local time and 15: 00 GMT

Home Stars FC will look to their leading scorers, James Asamoah and Benjamin Karikari, to maintain their stellar goal-scoring form and propel the team to victory.

Additionally, fans can anticipate thrilling encounters in other league fixtures, with Vision FC, the current table-toppers, facing off against Uncle T United at Prampram Park, while Susubiribi SC plays host to Hohoe United FC, who currently occupy the third position in the standings.
