Black Stars forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, started for FC Zurich on Sunday in their 2-0 win over Yverdon-Sport in the 2023–24 Swiss Super League opener.
Jonathan Okita’s goal in the 27th minute gave FC Zurich the lead before Nikola Kati added a second goal in the 54th minute of the second half to double the advantage for the home team.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh put up an outstanding performance in the match, which FC Zurich won 2-0. He played all 69 minutes of the match.
