Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy from Psquare fame, has advised colleagues in the industry to secure their futures with the necessary investment plan.
According to him, that was the surest way to keep them from begging in the future when life takes a tragic turn.
Rudeboy, who expressed concern over the rate of celebrities seeking sponsorship and assistance due to their ill health in an Instagram post, lamented that the act was not making the industry attractive.
The act, he noted, was tarnishing the prestige of the industry, and it was high time for celebrities to take proactive measures to secure themselves financially for future gains.
“Seriously, a lot is going on in the industry, including depression and all. But, abeg, if e reach your turn to shine, abeg, try to invest. E no easy at all. Avoid story that touches. Me sef don taya to the hear stories. E come be like na loose guard industry,” Rudeboy wrote.
The “Ayoyo” hitmaker stated that celebrities who were seeking financial assistance lost their guard in their green days and expressed the need for the young ones to invest now to avoid such touching future stories.
