Ghana’s Olympic Committee (GOC) has officially appointed Imax Media’s head of sports, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, as Head of Mission for Team Ghana for the upcoming 2023 African Beach Games in Tunisia from June 24 to 30.
Ampofo Ankrah, who doubles as Chairman of Ghana Beach Soccer, is currently representing the GOC in Tunis, where he will spend three days at the African Beach Games Summit, which is currently underway.
In his absence, vice chairman of the Ghana Beach Soccer Union, Kusi Gyamfi, will act.
The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Simeon Okraku, launched the Beach Soccer League on Tuesday at the GFA Secretariat.
