Abdul Aziz Yakubu scored in his first official game for the Wuhan Three Towns after joining the club on loan from Rio Ave in March.
Wuhan Three Towns beat Shandong 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian was named man of the match for his outstanding performance in his side’s victory against Shandong in the Chinese FA Super Cup final.
Aziz was substituted in the 90th minute, he was replaced by Brazilian attacker Ademilson.
