2022 WCQ: Black Princesses thump Uganda to progress to next stage of qualifiers

The Female Under 20 team of Ghana the Black Princesses recorded a resounding victory against Uganda to progress to the final round of the World Cup qualifiers.

The second leg game which was played at the Cape Coast Stadium saw the Princesses come into the match with a 2-1 advantage from the first leg.

The game started brightly for Ghana as Evelyn Badu made it 1-0 in the 22nd minute.

Salamatu Abdulai scored Ghana’s second in the 26th minute before Rahama Jafar made it 3-0 in the second half.

Doris Boaduwaa added two more and the game ended 5-0.

This means Ghana wins the game 7-1 on aggregate and will face Ethiopia in the final round of the qualifiers.
