Burkina Faso emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, securing all three points in the Group A contest.
The Black Satellites needed a victory in this match to improve their chances of progressing to the knockout stage. In their previous match against Niger, they had drawn 1-1 but conceded a late goal.
For Ghana to advance to the knockout stage of the WAFU Zone B U20 Cup of Nations tournament, they will need to secure a win against Ivory Coast on Thursday, July 13.
