UEFA CL: Milan Stun Napoli In Naples

AC Milan may have set a Milan derby in the semis after edging out Italian rivals Napoli after a 1-1 draw at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples.

Rafael Leao’s powerful running ended in one-on-one with Meret and the Portuguese forward slid the ball to Giroud for a simple finish to give AC Milan a much need away goal after Olivier Giroud’s spot kick was palmed wide by the Napoli goalie.

Osimhen was shackled all night until his added-time header but it came too late for Napoli and their disappointed fans.

This was the third meeting between Milan and Napoli in 16 days, with Stefano Pioli’s visiting side having claimed a 4-0 victory against the runaway Serie A leaders on April 2.
