RuffTown Records signs first male artist after Wendy Shay's speculated exit

Days after Wendy Shay sparked exit rumors, RuffTown Records has officially unveiled a new first-ever male signee, Baba Tundey.

The label announced Baba Tundey with a music video for his well-received single, “Last Born (Remix),” featuring Holyrina.

Ricky Nana Agyeman, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the label, announced this on his Instagram page, where he officially shared pictures of the contract he signed with the new artist.

Baba Tundey expressed joy to be part of the label and believed that the label would help him expand his reach.

“I am happy to be part of this great label. We all know what RuffTown Records can do, and as a young talent, I need to expand my reach and work with some great producers and artists. I am excited about the future, and I thank God for this opportunity. Baba Tundey is about to serve you with nothing but good music. Stay with me on this journey,” he said.

Touted as one of the voices of the future, Baba Tundey recently made waves in the industry, capturing the imagination of fans with “Anastasia.”

His addition to the label had gone a long way toward strengthening the rumors that sensational Afrobeat artist Wendy Shay had parted ways with the label.
