Neequaye grabs debut win

Africanus Neeqauye, a student at Labone Senior High School who was competing for the Akotoku Boxing Gym, knocked out Palm Springs’ Zuriel Marbell in round four of their Light Weight event.

 

Akimos back on winning ways

Akimos Annan Ampiah of Attoh Quarshie returned with a win over Moses N.A. Hammond of the Bridge Gym at featherweight in his seventh appearance at the Ghana Professional Boxing League since the league’s start in 2022.

 

Mawuli continues to struggle

Accra Academy’s student, Cann Neequye, dominated Hope Mawuli in a Bantam Weight contest, achieving a second consecutive win over his opponent with a decisive knockout punch.

 

Mensah defeats Dana

Panix Gym’s Fawo Mensah won a majority decision against Bolgatanga-descent Kofi Dana in a hard-fought Welter Weight contest that went the distance.

 

Dorwuona returns with a BANG!

Isaac Dorwuona of the Bronx made a powerful comeback with a round two technical knockout victory against Jonathan Pappoe in a Super Feather Weight contest.

Fuseini continues winning ways

 

Last season’s best gym, CQBF’s Mohammed Fusseini defeated Sea View’s Eric Tetteh in a Super Bantam Weight contest after knocking him down in the last round of the penultimate bout of the night.

 

Ghana Prison Services dominates Ghana Armed Forces

In the main event, Jessie Lartey of the Ghana Prisons Service emerged victorious in a Welter Weight contest against Philip Quartey of the Ghana Armed Forces. Ghana Prisons Service dominated Ghana Armed Forces in the main event.
