Spain qualified for the Olympics for the first time by easily defeating the Netherlands in their Women’s Nations League semi-final.

With a 3-0 victory in Seville, the world champions guaranteed their spot at the Games in Paris this summer.

The goals were scored by Ona Batlle, Aitana Bonmati, and Jennifer Hermoso on a historic night for La Roja.

If the Netherlands wins Wednesday’s third-place play-off against Germany, they still have a chance to go to Paris in 2024.

In the 43rd minute, Hermoso gave Spain the lead by grabbing a pass from Bonmati. Two minutes later, Bonmati scored off a cross by Mariona Caldentey.

To ensure Spain’s victory in the 77th minute, former Manchester United full-back Batlle slammed home the final goal.
