Nigeria’s Moses Simon pays tribute to Ex-Black Stars striker Dwamena

Super Eagles forward Moses Simon has paid tribute to former Black Stars of Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena who collapsed and died during a league match in Albania on Saturday.

The 28-year-old, who was the top scorer in the Albania league with nine goals, suffered a heart attack and collapsed in the first half of the match.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, unfortunately he passed away.

After scoring in Nantes’ Ligue 1 game against Metz on Sunday, Simon revealed an inscription under his jersey ‘RIP Raph’

Simon’s goal saw Nantes draw level against Metz however, they went on to lose 3-1.
