Super Jude Bellingham leads GALATICOS to victory in Naples

At Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Jude Bellingham helped Real Madrid defeat Italian champions Napoli with a goal and an assist.

The England midfielder carried the ball into Napoli’s penalty area from 40 yards away, then curled a shot skillfully into the bottom right corner to give his team a 2-1 lead at the break.

Leo Ostigard had previously given Napoli the lead in the 19th minute by heading in quickly after Natan’s attempt hit the crossbar, but Vinicius Jr. leveled the score for Real after Bellingham set him up for goal.

Napoli’s hardwork paid off as Piotr Zielinski equalised from the penalty spot

When Nacho Fernandez stopped a shot by Victor Osimhen, referee Clement Turpin first did not award a penalty. However, after consulting with the video assistant referee, the French official changed his mind and awarded the penalty.

Federico Valverde’s thunderous strike went in off the back of goalkeeper Alex Meret with just over ten minutes remaining, giving Real the victory.
