Asante Kotoko are reportedly close to sealing the transfer of winger, Prince Kwabena Owusu after he left Bibiani Goldstars after his contract expired.
The forward player confirmed in an interview with a Kumasi-based radio station that he has been in talks with the Porcupines and is very open to joining them.
“Yes, I have received calls, and the majority of them are from Asante Kotoko Kotoko. We are far along in the conversation, and I am hoping it will go well,” he said on June 25.
Ghanaian football transfer expert and statistician, Mohammed Shaban, shared in a social media post that Owusu’s move is nearing completion.
The head coach of Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Ogum, has also sounded out Great Olympics’ Kasim Razak as another big addition to his side.
Kotoko has submitted a bid for the midfielder in spite of Hearts of Oak’s interest in the player.
