Hearts of Oak’s communication director Kwame Opare Addo has an astonishing manner, comparing club officials, Alhaji Akambi, and Vincent Odotei to Jesus Christ.
The two aforementioned officials of the club have had a bitter relationship with fans of the club for some seasons now, pointing fingers at them for the club’s struggles in recent seasons.
He made this comparison during an interview on Max FM’s Sports Pack show, as he compared reports suggesting Akambi and Odotei are responsible for recruiting players for the club.
“Was the alleged accusation made against Jesus Christ true?” he asked when Nana Darkwa Gyasi had questioned him about the said officials recruiting players for the club and imposing them on the coaches.
Opare Addo’s response was baffling and hard to digest, as he suggested the club’s head coaches were supposed to oversee the recruitment of players.
Meanwhile, before the start of the 2023–24 season, Hearts had signed players before the appointment of Martin Koopman as the first head coach of the season.
