A seven-month-pregnant woman, Madam Mesuna Adiza, is reportedly battling for her life after being attacked by her husband with a machete.
The incident occurred in Banda, a town in the district of Krachi Nchumuru in the Oti Region.
She is currently receiving treatment at the Banda Health Centre, as her husband, Ibrahim Anas, has been arrested by the police for further investigations.
Assembly Member of Donwieso West Electoral Area, John Mpoebi Nteleye, informed the Ghana News Agency that the victim sustained multiple deep cuts on her forehead, hands, mouth, shoulder, and stomach.
