Broadcast journalist Serwaa Amihere has broken her silence following the circulation of an intimate video featuring her and a man identified as Henry Fitz.
The video, rumored to be from 2019, has sparked various speculations, including allegations of an affair with a married man, prompting criticism and trolling of Serwaa.
In a statement released on her X account on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, Serwaa apologized for the embarrassment caused to her family, employers, and loved ones, acknowledging her underestimation of her influence at the time of recording the video. She revealed that the video was released after five months of threats and extortion.

Serwaa expressed her willingness to learn from the incident, stating, “In all, I have learnt deeply useful lessons for the future.”
Amid calls for disciplinary action from the public, EIB Network, her employer, announced an independent investigation into the matter, while the police have also made arrests in connection with the case.
