Morocco’s comeback began when Abde Ezzalzouli, the Barcelona winger, cleverly outwitted Guinean defender Cisse, who committed a foul and conceded a penalty. Ezzalzouli confidently converted the penalty in the 68th minute, leveling the score for the host nation.

Controversy arose when VAR (Video Assistant Referee) came into play. Despite an inconclusive decision, the referee awarded a second penalty to Morocco after the team claimed a handball in the penalty box. Once again, captain Ezzalzouli stepped up and successfully deceived Guinea’s goalkeeper, Mory Keita, to give Morocco the lead.

The game continued to be filled with drama as VAR was called upon again. The Guineans thought they had equalized, but the goal was disallowed due to a handball by their team.
