According to information obtained by Max Online, Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus is almost certain to sign with English powerhouse Chelsea Football Club.
The English club and the Ajax star were on the verge of reaching a personal agreement, as Max Online had previously reported on July 23.
The 22-year-old offensive midfielder, who is in the final two years of his deal at the Johan Cruyff Arena and is free to leave the team this summer, has been contacted by the Blues about a potential move for him from Ajax.
Given his current contract position and the ongoing discussions, the Dutch club is willing to sell the Rights to Dream Academy product for the right price. According to rumors in the English media, Kudus may be available for a value of around £40 million.
Should Ajax accept their offer, Mohammed Kudus will become the third player from Ghana to represent the two-time European champions.
