MAX MORNING DEW: My backing vocalist betwitched my producer – Nhyira Betty

By Michael Mensah Martey

Talented gospel artiste Nhyira Betty has disclosed that her backing vocalist who she trusted bewitched her producer to work with him.

According to her, the backer foiled the production and distribution of her music “Berima Ena” at the weakest point of her life when she was six months pregnant.

Revealing her ordeal to Max Morning Dew in Accra on Wednesday, the renowned songstress said she came to the capital from Kumasi with her husband to check the production of the music only for her to discover that the producer was producing her backing vocalist.

She indicated that the producer was a person who had even rented a place for her in Accra and was left stranded when the producer sadly quit working with her.

“I almost got mad but I revived myself and sent it to prayers. Although I was six months pregnant, I did dry fasting for seven days and the result was miraculous. On that seventh day, I saw that the CDs of Berima Ena are tied and covered in some rags and were thrown into a deepest place but with the help of God I took it from there,” she explained.

Nkyira Betty said in no time, her track Berima Ena became a smash hit and was all over the country.
