MAX GPL: Week 32 roundup of the BetPawa Premier League

Week 32 of the BetPawa Premier League kicked off at Akoon Park in Tarkwa where Medeama Sporting Club came from behind to beat Alhaji Grusah’s Kumasi King Faisal 2-1 on Friday afternoon.

 

Relegation-threatened side Dreams FC dented Aduana FC’s title hopes as Ali Huzaf’s solitary 60th-minute header proved to be enough to hand his side the much-needed three points.

 

Mohammed Yahaya’s 11th-minute strike was enough to beat the boys from Samaraboi, FC Samartex, 1-0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

 

Legon Cities piled more misery on the not-so-glorious Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon as they won 1-0 at the EL-Wak Stadium thanks to a feeble Kofi Kordzi strike just before the end of the first half.

 

Bibiani Goldstars defeated an already relegated Kotoku Royals 3-1 at Duns Park to move to fourth on the league standings.

 

Berekum Chelsea suffered a surprise 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Nsoatreman FC. Samuel Ofori netted a brace to stun the home fans at Golden City Park.

 

Bismark Kobi-Mensah’s Accra Great Olympics secured an all-important 1-0 victory over Accra Lions at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

 

Real Tamale United came from a goal down to defeat Bechem United on Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
