Bechem United’s leading goal scorer, Hafiz Konkoni has stated that he is ready to join any of the two biggest clubs in Ghana, Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko if they require his service.
Speaking in an interview on Max FM, he said; “They are the two biggest clubs in the country and every player playing in the league dreams to one way or the other represent them. I don’t have a problem whether Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko. If they bring an offer and I weigh them, why not? I am ever ready. Whether Hearts of Oak or Kotoko I don’t have a problem playing for any of them because they are the two biggest teams in the country.”
The 23-year-old has been in red-hot form in the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League season, netting 14 goals in 22 games. Hearts of Oak will need his service the most for next season, with the club’s strikers misfiring this season since the departure of former player and talisman, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to Swiss side FC Zurich.
The likes of Yassan Ouatching, Seidu Suraj, and Albert Eonde have come under heavy criticism from fans for their poor performance this season.
