Former Ebusua Dwarfs and Ashgold coach, Ernest Thompson Quartey favours Aduana FC to clinch the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League trophy for a third time
Now a Lecturer, coach Thompson expressed how impressed he has been by the performances of the Dormaa-based club so far this season despite being banned from home.
However, the Elmina Sharks coach feels if there is an unfortunate slip, then Medeama or Accra Hearts of Oak could pose a real threat to Aduana’s title chances.
“I can say without a doubt that the league is still open. Looking at the point gap between league leaders Aduana and second-placed Medeama, Hearts of Oak and the next team. A slip up by any team could change the outcome.
“Yes Aduana are leading but it is not a done deal for them”, he told Max 89.7FM
Aduana FC are placed on the summit of the league with 47 points, followed by Medeama SC with 44 points and Accra Hearts of Oak with 42 points respectively.
