Adidas has created a contentious green-striped design for Manchester United’s gaudy new away shirt for the 2023–24 season.
The sportswear giant asserts that the striking uniform was put together to honor United’s “storied past” and embrace a “fresh, modern look.”
The kit also drew influence from the city. Its vertical stripes are a reference to the club’s early years; the pattern wasn’t used for two decades.
The fabric used to make the shirt is entirely recycled.
The HEAT.RDY technology in the jersey’s on-field version enables United’s players to keep cool during their games on various fronts next season.
The alternative outfit for the fans includes AEROREADY, a comparable piece of technology that helps keep the body dry and comfortable.
Numerous United players, including Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, and Marcus Rashford, are prominently featured in the design.
