MAX ENTERTAINMENT: I produced ‘Fvck boys’ with Yaa Pono in mind – Fimfim

By Michael Mensah Martey

Musical producer, Isaac Adu Buxton known by his stage name Fimfim has revealed that the beat for Tulenkey’s hit song “Fvck Boys” which was produced by him was originally done for Yaa Pono.

He said after he mastered and mixed the beat, he wanted someone who could do justice to it so the musician which came to mind was Yaa Pono.

According to the producer, all attempts reaching the talented artiste proved futile so he started introducing the sound to many musicians.

Fimfim said no musician could make a good song from the beat until Tulenkey came and did justice to the sound.

He revealed to Max Morning agenda during an interview in Accra on Friday that Tulenkey was the first musician who added jokes and better lyrics to make it sound how he wanted.

Fimfim mentioned that after the original version became popular, he added his catch phrase to it during the remix version with Falz and Ice Prince.

Fimfim expressed so much joy seeing the 2019 track becoming a smash hit which even landed Tulenkey many nominations in various awards schemes in the country.
