Gen Z arresting officer didn't know who singer was

The arresting officer in the ‘Justin Timberlake drink driving’ scandal, according to the Daily Mail UK, did not know who he was.

The 43-year-old singer, who has a tour upcoming, was arrested on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, for driving while drunk in Sab Harbor in the Hamptons after a long night out with friends.

According to Page Six, the former N-Sync lead singer said under his breath, “This is going to ruin the tour,” to which the officer replied, “What tour?” Justin said, “The world tour.”

‘His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,’ the court papers said.

The Daily Mail UK revealed the award-winning singer has been stressed lately due to Britney Spear’s allegations in her bombshell memoir, stating she was forced to have an abortion ‘in the early 2000s.’

Timberlake has since been released without bond and is expected to be banned from driving for a year in New York.
