The 2023 National Best Farmer, Madam Charity Akortia, speaking on the Max Morning Dew with Kojo Addison on Max FM, she said she started farming with her monthly salary and didn’t wait for a huge capital.
The 57-year-old, who hails from Agona West Municipality in the Central Region, later took out loans to help her in the business.
For her prize, Charity Akortia received a cash prize of GH¢1 million sponsored by the Agriculture Development Bank.
