Popular dancer DanceGod Lloyd has lauded himself for giving a facelift to the indigenous dance in order for it to gain international recognition.
According to him, his dance challenges using songs have influenced the growth of songs in the entertainment industry.
The dancer, in a tweet, noted that most of the challenges on social media, especially Titok, were motivated by his promotional ability to get Ghanaian music on the map.
“After Legendary Paa Tee and Adjetey Sowah’s era, I played the biggest role in giving the dance industry in Ghana a face in modern-day entertainment. The evidence is there. The number of No. 1 songs my dance has influenced,” he tweeted.
Laud Anoo Konadu, known privately, is a local dancer and choreographer who became well-known for his remarkable dancing abilities and creative choreography, which he displayed in a variety of dance competitions and events.
Together with his colleague Incredible Zigi, DanceGod Lloyd co-founded the Dance With Purpose Academy (DWP) in addition to his own career.
Even though he is no longer a member of DWP Academy, the dance group is a well-known Ghanaian dance organization that provides instruction in a variety of dancing forms, such as hip-hop, contemporary, and afrobeat.
