Bechem United have now gone nine games without a defeat after beating AshantiGold 2-0 in a Ghana Premier League match day 16 game.
The game which was played at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park at Bechem United saw the home side score twice in both halves to win the game.
Bechem took the lead early in the game when Augustine Okrah capitalized on an error from goalkeeper Kofi Mensah in the 14 minutes to make it 1-0.
AshantiGold fought to get the equalizer but it was Bechem that added a second after the recess.
Essel burst out from the right and sent a cross into the Ashgold box which was beautifully controlled by Emmanuel Annor who hit a powerful right footed shot to make it 2-0.
The game eventually ended in favour of Bechem United who have now gone 9 games unbeaten and are second on the table.
