GFA exco member : Otto Addo is best choice for Black Stars job

By Henrycobblah

Dr. Tony Aubynn, an executive member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has endorsed former Ghana international Otto Addo for the vacant Black Stars coaching position.

Following Ghana’s worst-ever performance in the Africa Cup of Nations, the GFA fired Milovan Rajevac as head coach of the Black Stars.

Dr. Tony Aubynn is endorsing Otto Addo, who is now the assistant coach of Borussia Dortmund, to take over as the Black Stars’ next coach because he believes he is the greatest match for the team.

“Otoo Addo is the best choice now because he was the assistant for Milo and he has trained with the boys and they respect him so much.

“He’s the right man for the job now, considering the fact that he’s also a former player,” Dr. Tony Aubynn said in an interview with Accra-based  FM station.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association is reported to have chosen Otto Addo, while the government, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is pushing for Chris Hughton to be the new coach of the Black Stars.
