GALATASARAY 3-3 MAN UTD: Onana struggled in hell

United was left to lament the fact that they had seriously jeopardized their chances of making it to the round of 16 by throwing away yet another solid Champions League position.

With early goals from Garnacho, who added another fantastic finish to his moment of genius against Everton, and Fernandes, United seemed composed. However, after 29 minutes, Onana made a clumsy positioning mistake that allowed Ziyech’s routine free-kick to slip in.

The Red Devils responded well when McTominay slid in their third before Onana let another routine Ziyech free-kick fly past him just after the hour mark, to give Galatasaray the momentum for Akturkoglu’s equalizer.

Once again, United ended up having to lament their inability to finish a game they controlled, primarily due to a subpar performance from the Cameroonian international goalkeeper they bought from Inter Milan.
