We begin tonight’s episode with the villagers arriving at the priest shelter as they vent out their anger regarding who could burned down their homes and Joan concludes its Cordelia because of her threats hoping the arrested suspects will confess.
Leo and Jc begin to fight again after Leo visits Grace at the hospital and sees JC in her room.
Jc ask him to leave because he hurt Grace and she won’t be happy to see him and Leo ask him to worry about his own girlfriend and not someone’s own. Lulu and Marco arrives and throw them up.
Jc and Melissa have another argument about Grace again. Jc said they both over and he’s only there as a friend and she has changed a lot and different from the woman he knew and loved.
Eugene interrogates Kulas on of the suspects and he confess to starting the fire.
Leo arrives home angry his mom causes that fire in the village, Leo said the fire will be investigated and she will be in trouble but she said even if it’s investigated they won’t find a thing.
Kulas finally confessed Cordelia gave them the order to start the fire.
Jc goes to visit Grace again as she finally regains consciousness, he tells her everybody now knows he never left the country but if he hadn’t been there during the fire then they wouldn’t all be safe and Grace thanks him for saving her life. Grace teases him for worrying about her.
Ulysses tells the men he has decided to cancel their upcoming deal surprising JC but to the happiness of Leo. Adolfo ask if he thinks JC can’t handle it anymore and Ulysses said the transaction will only be dealt with once they find out who has been ratting on them asking Dauris if he has done the job he asked and he said they keeping an eye on someone so Leo said then they should bring the person’s head to him whiles smiling as Jc looks uneasy.
Cordelia tells Hugo she isn’t affected by what Leo said and only wants to find out if her plan really affected Eugene and Joan and Hugo said they should go there to make sure and also she showing up there will make them think she doesn’t have a hand in what happened and she decides to go do some charity work there.
Jc confronts Leo about been behind the canceling of the deal and Leo said he isn’t stupid that even though he can’t tell Ulysses his truth he will make sure he can’t catch him and he won’t let him ruin everything they have worked hard for.
Jc said the next time he won’t be lucky and Leo said he already found a way to get him kicked out of the group and sooner or later his secret will be exposed and he doesn’t have to say a word since a lot of people there are dieing to find out who he really is and the moment they do then it’s Ulysses himself who will finish him off as Adolfo spies in on them with a suspicious look.
Cordelia arrives at the shelter telling Joan and the others she came to do some charity works and she donated the goods they were so happy about and everyone returned the things because it came from her. Joan confronts and beats up Cordelia for been behind the fire.
Eugene arrives to arrest Cordelia as she denies her involvement, she’s locked up in Jail with the other criminals. Eugene tells her he will only have her released if she can prove her innocence and she continues to deny it.
Hugo tells Ulysses about what happened and he gets so furious saying if they wanted to get even then they should at least not get caught.
Jc continues to care for Grace in the hospital and he tells her she’s one of the reasons he came back to community and Grace teases him for missing her.
Joan and Eugene visits Cordelia telling her she will pay for everything she has done and after her Ulysses comes next so Cordelia ask if they will let Leo pay to asking if they will send him to jail too.
Jc gives his boss an update about the postponement of the transaction as long as the mole is still in the group and the boss said his mission is over but he insists on staying there and luckily they tell him flavio is safe so Jc ask to meet up with him.
Leo visits Cordelia in Jail in the presence of his real parents and is so worried about her as he confronts his parents about ruining his life and trying to destroy his new family too. Joan tells him to stop defending Cordelia and seek out righteous that he learnt from his real family as Cordelia attacks Joan from between the bars to stop poisoning her son and Leo said they should stop hurting his mom.
The captain tells the villagers they have found a place to relocate to and Joan also tells them about Cordelia been in jail.
At the hospital, Melissa confronts Grace again, Leo arrives with some gifts for her and Melissa starts talking rubbish again.
Leo offers to let Grace and her family stay at the hotel but she rejects it saying Cordelia his mom started the fire but he denies it saying she’s been framed by the Reyes because they envious of them.
Ulysses visits Cordelia in Jail and promises to get her out of there, their lawyer tells them it’s a new year so no one can process her bill application.
A furious Ulysses confronts Eugene to release Cordelia but he said there’s a proper time to post bail so he should come back after the holidays and Ulysses lashes out that he intentionally arrested Cordelia at a bad time and he’s using his position to put Cordelia on the spot and Eugene said the two arsonists are in his custody so he has substantial evidence to make Cordelia pay and Ulysses said he’s warned because he has no idea who he’s messing with and Eugene said he knows him far too well and it won’t take long before he and Cordelia end up in prison and he shouldn’t try to bribe anyone at the station because they officers who can’t be bought.
Hugo bribes some attorney and tried bribing an officer who rejected it as Ulysses is furious.
Back to Leo he tells Grace he’s leaving to Singapore and will miss her and kisses her unawares, Jc arrives at that moment and leaves seeing that but didn’t see Grace push Leo away and telling him it’s over and Leo said he won’t give up in on her with Grace telling him his concept of love is insane.
Jc gives his partner all the money gotten from the syndicate so it can be used as evidence. Jc also tells his partner about Grace and how scared he of losing her in that fire and his partner concludes he’s in love with Grace and Jc said he felt like beating up Leo seeing him kiss Grace but he can’t have a relationship with her because she’s his brothers ex and it will just deepen their rift.
The villagers mark new year at the shelter with smiles on their faces, so does Grace, Lulu and Marco at the hospital. Same with Melissa and her grandma.
Madam high also marks hers in jail with Gwen, Andrea, Leo and Ulysses.
Joan thanks the priest for letting them stay there and they won’t give up now that they’ve found Aris and there’s a possibility their family will be whole again. We ended as the Reyes hug at the shelter and the Balthazar’s in jail.
