Mr. Silver started defending Joan but she asked him to stop and she agreed to go with the cops.
Adolfo called Ulysses with the phone he stole from Inez, he asked to get him out of jail but Ulysses rather got angry at him and asked him to relax, Ulysses hung the call.
Adolfo then went to the gallery and saw a video of Inez and Leo in bed and he fumes in anger.
Upon reaching the station, Eugene was angry that he was not informed about Joan’s sermon, he told Joan not to tell them anything until their lawyer arrives.
Eugene then went to the officer to enquire about it and he was informed that they need to interrogate Joan to prove her innocence and until that, Eugene has been removed from the case.
In the interrogating room, Joan narrated her story, she told them that she ran into Leo in the middle of the road, she helped Leo without knowing he was being chased by the police, she did her best to make it look like she had no idea that Leo is a criminal.
The officer told her that they will call her for any further assistance and Joan is free to go.
Inez got a call from her lawyer asking her to meet Adolfo as he want to see her.
Inez told Melissa to handle the paperwork as they will be welcoming an important client.
Ulysses meets up with his men, he informed them that he will be meeting one of the bosses and he is not returning until he gets the position he wants, he added that Leo will be in charge.
Later, Ulysses told Leo that he only gave him back his position just because he wants him to manipulate Joan and Eugene, he should be a good son until he learns from them what they know about the syndicate and Leo agreed to do so.
At the office, Jackson tried to molest Melissa once again, she defended herself with a broken bottle, Cordelia came there and Jackson left, she told Melissa that she knows everything about her and Jackson, she added that she bought her from Jackson so Jackson won’t bother her again, she went on by saying she is now the new owner of Melissa.
After that encounter, Melissa went to a boxing club to learn how to fight to defend herself. She was transferred to a new coach and the coach turned out to be Leo.
She vents her anger on Leo and his family because she knows for sure they will be using her for nothing good, she also offered herself to Leo and he followed her to the washroom room and they made love I guess.
When Leo returned home, Cordelia came to talk to him about the syndicate and his relationship with Ulysses.
Cordelia said she will make sure they make use of Melissa to exact their revenge on JC.
The main boss of the syndicate defended Leo and Ulysses’s group during a meeting, he added that he has appointed Ulysses as the head of the Asian syndicate.
Later, JC congrats Ulysses on his new position.
He wanted to know what the syndicate will be taking in exchange for the position but Ulysses told him is none of his business, he ordered Leo and JC to wait outside.
When they left, Ulysses quickly hides a laptop in his safe.
JC meet up with his NBI chief and informed him about Ulysses’s new position, the chief told him to give up on the balthazar’s case but JC insisted on not stopping.
The chief got angry and told him to quit else he will kick him out of the agency.
From there, JC meets up with his father and informed him about his decision to continue with the case, he agreed to step out of the agency and work independently to get his brother back.
As part of his mission to lure his biological parents, Leo visits Joan and faked a concerned face, he said he is worried she might get dragged into his mess, he then enquired about what she told the police during her interrogation with the cops.
He even offered to drive him off but Joan said she will be leaving with Lulu and there is no need.
Cordelia and Hugo went to a restaurant to eat and it happens to be the same restaurant Lulu and Joan are working they intentionally gave Joan some trouble by causing a scene, Cordelia throws food on the floor and asked Joan to clean up and she did, Cordelia got angry that Joan is not fighting back and attacked her, Joan slapped her and she slapped back, Joan then gave her double slap and Cordelia was ready to attack but she realized there are people around and stopped.
Cordelia then complained to the Manger but the people around defended Joan.
Cordelia made an excuse and leaves in anger.
The media followed Gwen to her school to ask some questions but she answered none, her mates teased her saying she comes from a family of criminals and Gwen attacked them but not for so long as their mistress came there.
When Gwen came home, she brought a letter from school asking her parents to meet the principal as a result of her fight.
The victims were all over the gate of Ulysses’ mansion, Cordelia decided to fight them but she was not able to approach them because they started throwing stuff at her, and she decided to move to another mansion to avoid the crowd.
At home, Joan told Eugene about his encounter with Cordelia and he also informed her about JC’s issues with the NBI. Joan was worried but Eugene assured her they will get through this victoriously.
Leo went to the providence to donate some items but Grace and her mother said they won’t accept anything for him, Leo told her he will eventually win Grace back.
From there, Leo bumps into JC and teased him saying he can tell on him anytime and also keep him away from Grace.
JC got angry and held Leo by his collar and asked him not to drag Grace into their issues, Leo held him back saying Grace is his and he will never let her go, they saw Ulysses’ car and let go of each other.
