FIFA 23: Ghana in, Nigeria out as EA confirm new national teams

Ghana will likely be one of the new playable national teams in the upcoming FIFA 23 video game.

Sports National teams that weren’t in the game have now been added thanks to EA’s successful acquisition of the rights to include a World Cup mode. This indicates that a total of 16 additional playable nations that qualified for the competition will be included to bring the total to 32 for the World Cup mode.

After eliminating Nigeria in the playoffs using the away goal rule, Ghana earned a spot in the competition.

Following their qualification, the Black Stars joined Cameroon, Senegal, Morocco, and Tunisia as the five African nations represented at the competition.

On September 30, 2022, the FIFA 23 will be made available officially over the world, according to the official EA website.
