Following an appeal, Everton’s penalty for violating Premier League financial regulations has been reduced from ten points to six.

In November, the club received a 10-point deduction for violating the profit and sustainability rules (PSR) for the three-year period ending in 2021–2022.

The Premier League’s largest-ever punishment dropped Everton from 14th to 19th place in the standings but have now made a leap from 17th to 15th place due to the ban’s lowering.

Everton declared themselves “satisfied” with the reduction after acknowledging the breach.
