Deborah Acquah finished behind Nigeria’s Ese Brume and Australia’s Brooke Buschkuehl in third place with a leap of 6.94 meters on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
The current national long jump record belongs to a long jumper from Ghana.
She qualified for the finals in Birmingham after failing to qualify for the women’s long jump finals at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.
