A total of 24 teams will be grouped for the tournament in Cameroon.
Comoros and Gambia will however be making their first appearance.
Defending Champions Algeria will automatically get seeded in Group B with host Cameroon also being seeded in Group A.
Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Nigeria and Egypt will be the four other seeded teams as the top ranked sides in Africa.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will be played between January 9 to February 6, 2022.
