Ernest Nuamah scores in Lyon's defeat to PSG

Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah scored a consolation goal for his side, Olympique Lyonnais, as they suffered a huge defeat to soon-to-be Ligue 1 winners, PSG.

In a game where all goals were scored in the first half, former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic scored an own goal to give the defending French champions the lead just three minutes later, before Lucas Beraldo doubled PSG’s lead three minutes later.

Summer signing Goncalo Ramos scored his first goal of the game with a thumping header in the 32nd minute.

Ghanaian international Ernest Nuamah pulled one back for the away side four minutes after conceding the third, and nearly had his second a minute later.

The Portuguese grabbed his brace of the night after he tapped in from Marco Assensio’s cross three minutes before halftime.

Lyon are now 8th in the Ligue 1 standings, as PSG have an 11-point lead over Monaco.
