#BlackStars: Andre Ayew named Le Havre player of the month

Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has been named the player of the month of February at Le Havre.

The Ghanaian international enjoyed a stellar month, scoring three goals for the oldest club in the French Ligue 1, including a glancing header goal in a 3-1 loss to Strasbourg.

Ayew’s spectacular overhead kick goal for Le Havre just days after Ghana’s exit at the 2023 AFCON in January was voted goal of the month.

Very positive developments from Andre Ayew following the criticism he received recently from Ghanaians who demanded that he step down from the senior national team, the Black Stars.
