By Michael Mensah Martey

Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton, has named a twenty-three man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against the United States of America and Mexico in October.

Medeama SC’s Fatawu Hamid is the only Ghana-based player named as Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey makes a return to the squad following some time out due to injuries.

Arsenal’s superstar midfielder Thomas Partey also makes an injury return to the squad after missing Ghana’s last Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Central African Republic in Kumasi.

The Black Stars will take on their families foes, the United States Men’s National Team in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday, October 17, after tackling Mexico on Saturday, October 14, in Charlotte.
