English championship club Leeds United are reportedly close to signing Ghanaian youth Nathaniel Adjei from Swedish top flight side Hammarby IF.

Leeds are battling Scottish Premier League giants Rangers and Celtic and a host of English second-division sides for the services of the young defender.

The Black Meteors player is being highly considered by Daniel Farke to replace injured Leeds star Charlie Creswell.

Hammarby IF have valued Adjei for around £3 million, as reports indicate representatives from Leeds had met with top officials from the Swedish club for the services of the Ghanaian youngster.
