Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have denied the sacking of their coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah.
An earlier report in the local media suggested the Hunters had severed ties with their tactician following an impressive start to the Ghana Premier League season.
But the technical head of the club, Francis Oti Akenteng, has denied such a report and has asked the public to treat it with the contempt it deserves. He clarified this on the MAX Sports Pack on 89.7 FM.
Bechem United have been in dismal form after three games into the campaign, losing three and winning just one game in four matches.
Despite early struggles, the club has backed the trainer to turn things around for the Hunters.
They currently occupy the bottom spot in the league table after four games into the Ghanaian top flight.
Mensah was appointed at the beginning of the season, taking over from Kassim Ocansey Mingle, who left the club after guiding them to a top-four finish in the previous season to join newly promoted Nations FC.
Bechem United will travel to Accra to face Legon Cities in a crucial encounter at the EL -Wak Stadium
