#AfricanGames2023: Uganda beat Rwanda to setup South Africa semis clash

Uganda’s women’s national cricket team, Victoria Pearls, thumped Rwanda with a brilliant 30-run win on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in a group stage encounter at the 13th All African Games.

The exciting encounter took place at the Achimota Cricket Oval in Accra at 9:30 a.m. Rwanda had an uphill task to usurp Uganda in the game, which ended 106/2 to the latter while they could only muster 76/8.

Uganda will face a giant in the sport, South Africa, in the semi-finals on Monday.
