Black Stars attacker Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer was on target for Hamburger SV as they crashed out of the German DFB Pokal after losing Hertha Berlin in the round of 16.
Konigsdorffer, before missing his spot kick as the game went into a penalty shootout, scored in extra time to give his team the lead before Jonjoe Kenny stunned the away side, as he scored the equaliser at the death.
Hertha Berlin advanced to the DFB Pokal quarterfinals this season after winning in a shootout.
