Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has claimed that criticism of his work with the Black Stars doesn’t truly impact him.
The Leicester City player has received harsh criticism for his manner of play and is frequently singled out by certain supporters for their belief that he is being picked due of his relationship to Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association.
“This criticism doesn’t really get to me because I am just a young boy coming up and I feel there will be more opportunities with the national team to come,” he said in an interview with South Africa-based Soccer Laduma.
“It’s the national team, it’s not like at club level even if you are five years old, they will expect more from you.”
