Thomas Partey will be available for selection when Arsenal plays Manchester City on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, according to manager Mikel Arteta.
The Ghanaian midfielder has been sidelined since August because of a groin problem.
In a news conference on Friday, Arteta said that Thomas Partey might play a part in the crunch match against the English champions.
“Well, he’s ahead of schedule that’s for sure. We wanted to have him in the squad if we needed to, but the way the game panned out we had other necessities and we didn’t use him. He will be in the squad tomorrow,” he said in the pre-match presser.
