The Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Akosua Frema Opare, organized a celebratory reception in honor of the Black Queens of Ghana at the Flagstaff House on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
Hon. Freda Prempeh and Jamaldee Alhassan, personal assistant to Hon. Mustapha Yusif, stood in proxy for the Chief of Staff, who couldn’t make it to the occasion.
The Black Queens entourage was led by the Chairperson of its Management Committee, Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah, head coach Nora Hauptle, and team manager Hannah Asare.
The Black Queens won the hearts of many despite their heartbreaking aggregate loss to Zambia in the Olympic Games qualifier on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
