Ghana took the lead in the second minute of play when Doris Boaduwaa headed in a corner from captain Portia Boakye. In the ninth minute, Evelyn Badu added a second goal after receiving a beautiful pass from the middle. After a strong run and a cross from Justice Tweneboaa, Princella Adubea headed in Ghana’s third goal in the 28th minute. In the 64th minute, Evelyn Badu got her second goal and Ghana’s fifth goal as she Badu fired a low shot from the outside the box.After Rwanda’s goalkeeper made an error in judgment in the 75th minute, Anasthesia Achiaa scored a beautiful volley from the edge of the area. Mary Amponsah’s goal in the 78th minute was disallowed for offside. With her second goal of the game, Anasthesia Achiaa increased the score to 7-0 in the 86th minute.
