THE BLOOD MOON: Tonight (MONDAY 3RD) On Episode 30

Malia (Miyo) takes a video recording of Senator Paglinauan handling some illegal specialized weapons built to fire silver bullets. Once the deal is done and the two party’s part ways, Miyo makes a blunder and ends up getting spotted by Manuel as he makes his escape. Later, Senator Paglinauan bitches nonstop upon learning of the situation he’s in and Manuel promises to deal with the matter.

In his quest to track down Toni, Tristan comes face-to-face with Samantha who deliberately reveals herself to be a vampire, prompting Tristan to engage her in combat. They take the fight to a deserted building where Samantha dominates him with her super speeding ability. Eventually, she subdues him and bares her fangs at him. Tristan is unfazed.

“What?” Tristan taunts. “You want my blood? Go on! Kill me!”

“This is the reason why you need us!” Samantha shoots back. “You have to realize you need vampires like us!”

Realization dawns on Tristan. “So you’re Samantha. You fought with me just to show how strong you are?”

“If you think I’m strong, you’ll be more impressed with Supremo.”

“Why don’t you show us who this Supremo is, instead of expecting us to follow you blindly?”

“And what are you gonna do? Are you going to barge in there recklessly?”

“I’d rather die knowing who my enemy is than being manipulated by creatures like you.” Despite Samantha’s efforts to convince Tristan that they’re on the same side and not enemies, Tristan refuses to let go of the fact that many of her kind had killed their loved ones and ruined lots of families.

Malia shows the video recording to her dad who’s quiet confident that it would ruin senator Paglinauan’s reputation. Malia hopes to use the incriminating evidence to bring down the senator along with Gilbert Imperial. The LLU soon begin discussing about the Moonchasers and their reluctance to ally with them. Baristo then gives Jake the green light to join the group. Meanwhile, some goons spy on Berto as he talks on phone with someone who’s supposed to refill their gas cylinder.

While the Lumakads have breakfast, the scumbags tamper with the gas cylinder which Berto had conveniently left outside. Dory commends Miyo of his accomplishments and thanks him for giving her the chance to take care of him. As the goons return the gas cylinder to its place, Kuto spots them and calls them out as thieves. The scumbags make a run for it and Miyo gives chase. Alas, Berto takes the gas tank inside to cook something. After reattaching it to the gas stove, Dory offers to take care of it and Berto heads back outside to check on the situation with Miyo and the fleeing crooks.

Dory attends to Kisses and sings a lullaby to quieten it. She then hands it to Greta and proceeds to turn on the gas stove and in a flash, an explosion rocks the house. Berto, Miyo and their other neighbors hurry over to the house to behold the horrific scene. Miyo (Malia) is horrified, and rightly so. A moment later at the hospital, the wounded Lumakads receive treatment. Miyo looks on helplessly as Berto cries over a badly burned, disfigured Dory. Recalling her mother’s words earlier, Miyo breaks away from everyone to sob by himself. Tristan follows him but hangs back a few steps away.

While Manuel’s dead body is found among some trash somewhere in the city, the doctor informs the Lumakads that Kisses (the baby) and the other little girl are safe because they had only suffered minor injuries and burns. Berto asks of Greta and the doctor reveals that she had suffered second degree burns, adding that Dory had suffered third degree burns and thus, needs to be taken to the operating room for wound debridement and then transferred to the ICU.

Gilbert Imperial commends Ningning after she’s able to hack into the system to get some info on the schedule of Jacinta Magsaysay. In the ICU, Miyo (Malia) sobs uncontrollably as he apologizes to his mother for having been dragged into his mess. Dory makes deliberate efforts to hold Miyo’s hand and give it a reassuring squeeze, signifying her forgiveness. The heart monitor then begins dropping drastically. As the Lumakads grieve and Miyo grieves along with them, he reflects on some memories with the now-departed Dory.

“How long will you be gone, Supremo?” Omar asks.

“I can’t say. But I’m not going to come back until I have Jacinta Magsaysay with me,” Supremo declares.

“Are you sure you want to get her for your campaign?”

“She’s my only chance at winning. Keep an eye on everything. And when I get back, I hope to see no one else but Jethro locked up inside that cell.”

“So what about the she-wolf?” Omar asks as Nognog spies.

“I’m sure you can think of a creative way to kill Veruska.”

“Of course, Supremo.”

Senator Paglinauan reaches out to Supremo for help in resolving the mess he’s in. He reflects on how he had murdered Manuel in cold blood. A moment later, Supremo hypnotizes some police officers with his power. Disregarding Baristo’s cautioning, Malia proceeds to confront the senator. With Supremo temporarily out of the way, Nognog offers to help Veruska and Jethro escape the vampire’s lair. Omar spies as they begin discussing their plan of action.

Miyo (Malia) returns to the hospital after he’s unable to find Senator Paglinauan. He comes clean about the whole matter to Berto and apologizes profusely. Tristan suggests that they file a police report and as Berto assures him that he isn’t to be blamed for the misfortune, the ‘zombied’ police officers show up to arrest Miyo for the murder of Manuel. As he’s being taken away amidst Berto’s protests, Miyo slips Tristan his phone and asks him to call Baristo for help.

Tristan calls Baristo to inform him of the situation on ground. As Miyo is being transported to precinct 8, Omar receives a phone call from Supremo, telling him to do something for him. Back on the road, Miyo continually professes his innocence and one of the hypnotized cops tasers him. Meanwhile, Tristan arrives at precinct 8 to find out that Miyo hasn’t been brought in. Speaking of, the ‘zombied’ cops have Miyo tied up and beaten. They try to compel him to sign a confession to Manuel’s murder but Miyo refuses and gets beaten up some more for his trouble.

Baristo arrives at precinct 8 and Tristan informs him of the unsettling turn of events. Fueled by Miyo’s insistence to not confess to a murder he didn’t commit, the cops gang up on him and bloody him all the more. Back at precinct 8, Tristan reveals the names of the officers who had taken Miyo and when the officer on duty produces a file of the active policemen in service, he proceeds to identify them.

“They’re the ones who took Miyo.”

“Are you sure?” asks the officer.

“Yes. That’s them.”

“That’s hard to believe. They’re good officers. What you’re saying is impossible.”

“But I recognize them,” Tristan points out. “They’re the policemen who took our friend.”

“Alright. We’re going to look for them.”

Baristo informs the other LLU members about Miyo’s disappearance. Suspecting that senator Paglinauan is planning something, Baristo hopes that Supremo has nothing to do with it and doesn’t know the truth about Miyo. Meanwhile, the cops douse Miyo with a bucket of water and as he asks who had ordered them to carry out their heinous actions, they electrocute him with a taser. The episode concludes as Miyo cries out in pain.
