The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is believed to be interested in former assistant manager for Manchester City, Pep Guardiola.
Domenec Torrent is reportedly being considered, with Portuguese coach Antonio Conceicao also in the running.
Nigeria is in search of a substantive head coach to replace Jose Peseiro, who led the Super Eagles to the final of the 2023 AFCON.
The 61-year-old Spanish coach has managed several European and South American clubs. The NFF believes his wealth of experience matches their requirements for a new coach.
Former Nigerian international Finidi George is currently the interim head coach of the Super Eagles.
